GANDHI PEACE WALK ALBUQUERQUE OCTOBER 5

WHERE:  Center for Peace and Justice 202 Harvard SE Albuquerque, (cnr Silver)
WHEN:  Sunday October 5th at 1pm to 3.30pm
WHY: Walking to create more Peace within Ourselves and in the World.

We would like to invite people from all walks of life to join together in walking for Peace.
 
Irishman, Dermot Butterly is walking from Los Angeles to Washington DC dressed as Mahatma Gandhi to promote Peace in the World and to raise funds to build a Community Center for an impoverished village in India.
 
Details: We are asking people to meet at the Center for Peace and Justice at 1.00pm.
The walk will commence at 1.30 and end at about 2.30 (approx 2 miles),
walking around the University campus and back to the Peace Center.
At 2.30 there will be drinks and discussion, ending with a
one minute of silent meditation for Peace around the World.

Special request:  We are looking for drivers to assist Dermot with the walk from New Mexico to D.C. Food, vehicle, lodging and incredible scenery provided.
